Reflection
I am pleased to participate in the Mask Project supporting the VNA & Hospice Foundation. The mask I have created is based on my father who has suffered strokes and heart attacks in recent years. I live 1,500 miles away from my folks and my hometown. When dad entered the hospital my brother sent digital pictures to me daily via the Internet chronicling my father's progress. When I received the "blank" and started to think about creating my mask-dad was the obvious source.
Painted in acrylic, using a palette similar to my paintings. Signed on the back of the mask.
