Bio Born and raised in Maine in a family of seven children, Daniel fell in love with art at an early age, creating some of his first artistic designs on grocery bags. This self-taught artist has earned a Broderson Award, a Maine Press Association Award for his editorial cartoons, and an Honorary Masters of Humane Letters from the University of New England in recognition of the potential social contribution of his work and for his efforts to change perceptions of the creative mind within the traditional educational system.
