Bio Martha Irwin was born in Chicago, Illinois. She has lived in California since 1971. She has taken classes in various media but is mostly self-taught. Reflection My mask designs are not preconceived. I just started applying paint. The end result will usually show some image within the mask. Most of my drawings give the feeling of quiet, indicative of meditation.
