George Hamamjian

Bio
George is a professional artist and interior designer. He has a strong interest in ceremony and ritual because they serve as ways of deepening the experience of self and community as well as accessing the realm of spirit.

Reflection
Tribes and cultures throughout the history of civilization have used masks in theater, ceremony, and ritual because they have the ability to connect us to our personal and collective beliefs and myths. They evoke qualities and powers both within us and beyond us and possess an alchemical ability to transform the ordinary into the magical and extraordinary. Thus, masks can transport us from our everyday experience to places beyond, where spirit guides, teachers and allies illuminate our journey and offer a deeper meaning to life. This mask is a gateway to this realm and a reminder that we do not live in only one world or one dimension.
