Joan Hasselgren

Bio
Painting is Joan Hasselgren's main interest. She has been focused on a series of paintings on her mother and their relationship. She attended University of California, Berkeley, Academy of Art and various art groups. Art has been her life.

Currently, she works in Silicon Valley or Silly Valley (as she calls it) to pay the rent!

Reflection

The mask is the yin and yang of woman. My depiction conveys the complicated life and emotions we all present to the world. The mask we perhaps show to hide ourselves.

The Mask project is a wonderful project representing hope, love, and compassion. I am deeply honored to have been a part of what you are and what you do. Thank you!
