Bio Akua Campanella has been a casting director in Los Angeles for the past two years casting features, commercials, and TV shows. She studied multicultural literature and studio art at Tufts University. Her father, Roy Campanella II, is a director, writer, and producer. Her grandfather was the baseball player, Roy Campanella. She was inspired by her grandfather's pictures and even caught a glimpse of them in bars and restaurants in Brooklyn where she lived prior to moving to LA. Reflection I love the islands. I love swimming with all the fish (as long as there is not a shark in sight). Snorkeling is relaxing and peaceful. I fantasize about changing into a mermaid and swimming away to my own little island surrounded by beautiful turquoise waters.
