Kevin Allen

Bio
Kevin Allen has been a professional musician for 15 years, recording several CDs with "The Katherine Chase Band" in San Francisco. He is also an amateur black-and-white photographer, focusing primarily on landscape.

Some of his hobbies include backpacking, camping, fishing, and hiking. He has a great love for adventures with those he loves. He also loves traveling, art, music, film, and good books. He truly enjoys a good comedy and likes to keep a good sense of humor about himself even in the deepest of sorrow. Kevin loves life.

Reflection
"Life is funny"

This statement is purposefully ambiguous. This is my life motto. Life is funny, funny weird, funny unpredictable, funny dejavu, funny peculiar, good funny, bad funny, funny hilarious, sad funny, glad funny.

It is so easy in today's society to be pessimistic and cynical. We read in the papers about man's inhumanity to man, murder, rape, racial tension, and hate. How easy it is to lose our sense of humor. Humanity has lost its ability to connect spirituality; materialism is the new religion in America - what a shame. Too many people have bought into "He who dies with the most toys wins". Isn't that funny? Let's not take life too seriously...it's too short not to laugh.
