Thoughts:
When I was 18, I had a wonderful trip to Kenya, Africa, with my parents for a photo safari. The Masai people and their unique lifestyle created in me deep appreciation for the Africans' special artistic style. I fell in love with African artifacts, especially masks. That African safari was special to my dad and was a highlight of our lives together. This mask is dedicated to my dad, Thoruald Ivan Anderson (1915-1991), who faced every challenge in his life with dignity and honor.
