Stuart Harwood, a protégé of Jose de Creeft and Frans Wildenhaim, assembles found objects into semi-functional sculptures. A Fulbright Scholar to Florence in 1956, he has received over two hundred awards since 1951. Mr. Harwood's work has been seen nationally and internationally in hundreds of shows, with large works in permanent collections of major museums such as the Whitney & Rochester Memorial Art Gallery in New York.
