Thoughts…

The recent shootings at Columbine High School made me think about the causes for violent acts by our middle-class youth. These are not impoverished urban youth, but those with an easy suburban lifestyle in a pleasant community. Behind the dark newspaper facade is a reminder that there is hope, that there is light within us, and that it is within our power to create a more loving and healthy society. Like most art, this is an issue that I feel personally; I strive to peel back the newspaper in my own life.
