A senior citizen and Chairperson of the Sanchez Art Center in Pacifica, California, Ms. Ewald has enjoyed arts in all its aspects - theatre, writing, music and even dance -- for all her life. The West Wing Gallery at the Art Center is one of several Bay Area hosts for preview exhibits of a portion of the mask collection.

Thoughts:

I have painted faces since my 6th grade teacher gave me a box of pastels. I had fun doing this mask, with a picture of Marilyn Monroe with Sandra Bullock lips in mind. It got away from me with the blue hair. But I couldn't figure a way to do a diamond nose ring!
