Ms. Miller is an artist of diverse methods, including large, colorful acrylic paintings, wood cut prints, decorative painting and faux finishes and pen and ink illustrations. She has lived and worked in San Francisco for the last 10 years, since moving from Connecticut.

Thoughts...

The inspiration for this mask was my cat, Pinecone. It grew into a more beast-like image, as the tiger emerged. I used paper maché to build the contours. Mostly, I had fun making it; I like my to keep my artwork fun and pleasant.
