Patrick Hilferty received his Bachelors of Arts at San Francisco State University, where he concentrated on ceramics and ceramic sculpture, and received his Masters in fine Arts from San Jose State University in 1997. He currently works in mixed-media photography, assemblage and video. Patrick has exhibited nationally, and his work can be found in the Mint Museum in Charlotte, North Carolina and Kunsthandwërk in Amorbach, Germany, as well as numerous other private collections.

It's my job, for the moment at least, to build ghosts and other objects that might fill in the gaps between memory, loss, and the desire for resolution.
