Ms. Wettasinghe was born and raised in Sri Lanka, where her interest in drawing and painting began. Today, she lives and works in the Bay Area as a professional graphic designer. In her free time, she also draws, paints and works in ceramics. She has displayed, won awards and sold both paintings and ceramics.

Thoughts:

My mask design represents two personalities. I chose a style that closely represents my culture (Sri Lanka) and my love for the Indian arts. The calm, serene look is a contrast from the daily life that we lead today. Despite the advancement of science and technology, art and culture still has a place.
