Ms. Wolf has traveled extensively in Europe, collecting ideas for handmade craft projects. She began working with ceramics about three years ago, but has also done woodworking, sewing and watercolor painting. Ms. Wolf has an Art History degree from UC Berkeley.

Thoughts:

My mask design uses flower motifs in muted colors to portray a garden nymph. Because it was painted with ceramic glazes, then fired in a kiln, it is completely weatherproof, making it suitable for any room in the house or even outside. This mask could be accompanied by a dried arrangement or fresh greenery.
