After majoring in Art at Wayne State University, Lee Zelitsky studied dance in Detroit and in New York City at the Martha Graham Studio with Alwin Nicholais. She then danced and taught dance first in New York and later in San Mateo with Mary Joyce. She has also designed costumes and sets for children's dance productions. Today, Ms. Zelitsky supervises the ceramics workshops at the Foster City Recreational Department.
Thoughts:
My mask design, entitled 'Grandchild Flowering,' is dedicated to my three beautiful grandchildren. It's my wish that all the world's children be as loved and cherished as these three.
