An artist and teacher of oils and pastels, Joan Jordan's various subjects-treated in a representational style-include animals, people, landscapes, or whatever catches her eye. Ms. Jordan has exhibited in galleries and won many awards.

Thoughts:

My mask, entitled "Mother Nature," was inspired by watching a couple of butterflies in my backyard. The preservation of all our wild creatures is important to me, so I thought I could convey this to the viewers of this mask.
