Jerrie Wacholder, a sculptor and jewelry designer, studied sculpture in Nice, France, and in San Francisco with Benny Bufano and Jacque Schnier. She has worked for many years designing jewelry, sculpturing portraits, and working in plastics and, recently, in ceramics.

Thoughts:

The design of my mask combines malachite and semi-precious stones, as well as buttons and beads. I used acrylic paint and selected the colors from the silk scarf that is used as a headpiece.
