An environmentalist and impressionist painter, Mr. Sumner creates art to promote environmental causes worldwide. For the past twenty-five years, he has worked tirelessly to "Save the Whales," sharing his vision with millions of people. His special "official" honors include the creating the 100th Anniversary painting of the Statue of Liberty and the 50th Anniversary painting of the Golden Gate Bridge; designing the 100th Anniversary logo for Golden Gate Park; and painting six life-size dolphins on the bow of Greenpeace's ship, "Rainbow Warrior."
