Producing most of her artwork in oils, Deanna Penn started painting approximately 15 years ago. She has exhibited at several local banks and art shows, but paints primarily for her own enjoyment and for friends and family.

Thoughts:

I wanted to paint flowers on my mask and tried several different approaches. Since purple is such a striking color, the pink rose is perfect against it. The vines along the side form a garden enclosing the rose. As well, several design suggestions from my family are incorporated in this mask. It was great fun to do!
