Ms. Shultz is Chief of Protocol for the City and County of San Francisco. She serves on numerous civic boards, including those of the San Francisco Symphony, Commonwealth Club, San Francisco Opera, San Francisco Ballet, and the Museum of Modern Art.

She has chaired innumerable civic events, and has received special awards and honors for community services. Ms. Shultz and her husband, George Shultz, are the honorary co-chairs of the Hospice Mask Project Celebrity Gala.
