Ms. Saarni teaches adult watercolor classes and gives demonstrations to art groups and at juried art shows. A graduate of U.C. Berkeley, she studied at California College of Arts & Crafts. Her work is exhibited at the Marin Society of Artists Gallery in Ross, California and the Valley Arts Gallery in Walnut Creek, California. She is a signature member in the California Watercolor Society, the Society of Western Artists, Watercolor West and the National League of American Pen Women.

My mask design represents Nature’s color form and beauty of Spring and Fall as well as the seasons of our lives. I believe that it is wonderful for people to spend their last months in their homes, where nearly everyone would prefer to be, thanks to Hospice.
